What next
At a loss thought I would be prepared. Cruised court site found pretrial set .. First I have heard of itMidland suing account stated . Texas. They sent me a redacted bill of sale. Blocked out all pertinent info which would identify clearly the account as mine. Also sent a ribosigned affidavit (known robosigner)Attesting to the accounting of the account .Attached credit bills , however none with a signature nor a contract signed by me Cannot give me a full account of the accounting, including that all calculations of interest and fees were correct. What do I need to do to be prepared for pretrial?
jrg24
Not sure how they do things in Texas as I am in Michigan but had a pretrial with Midland it wasn't really a big deal (and I was nervous) but the Attorney approached me wanted to talk I said no then we went in front of the Judge who then asked a few questions and set Discovery (more detailed in my post) but that was about it. Hope this helps
What next
Thank you , it does ..I have been told that there is a pre trial(mediation) and then an hour later there is a trial... Is that just opening discovery ? If so, do I need to submit a motion for discovery at that time

Looks like they are railroading you. you should prepare for objections to their evidence, and to exclude anything not previously disclosed. You need to get up to speed on trial defense. http://www.txconsumerlawyers.org/papers/defending_credit_card_cases_2009_04.pdf they are not doing right and I would make sure you moosh them at trial.
