I'm getting errors getting to it the last couple of weeks. Anybody else? Is there an issue?

Thanks, here is what I get in IE, and Firefox

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/2.2.23 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.23 OpenSSL/1.0.0-fips mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.debtorboards.com Port 80

Well, I'm now living in southern Arkansas, the only internet option I have is Dishnet Satellite. Seems o.k. though a bit pricy and the download caps are at 10 GB. This is my PC from SC. The 403 error means most probably the host of DB has this IP blocked/banned or whatever. I can go to the local (30 miles away) library and get to DB and logon.

What does it seem say about CIC?

Apparently all msg boards fall into the content filtering software except for Facebook, this is because most users want to access it. I got the password as I help this small town library with its malware/virus problems for free and give some technical help. This tends to favor me with small perks I can use.

Yep, CIC is deemed unfit as well. Makes you wonder about the people behind the software....

Some people have told me that when they try to access debtorboards on their workplace computers, they are blocked by their company's filtering software with a message that the site contains illegal material or something to that effect.  No one ever said that happened to them when they tried to access CIC.

Where I work, debtorboards is blocked because my company's filtering software considers it a message board.  Somehow, it doesn't consider CIC a message board.

I'd be screwed if they stopped message boards at my work.  I use stackexchange.com all the time to solve problems.

Where I work doesn't block message boards...but...big brother is watching and if I use my work computer to access CiC on company time, they know about it.

What if you access CIC during your lunch time?  Are they being big brother because they can, or because you're using the puny bandwidth?
