caligirl2012
I have been receiving calls from Midland for several months. They of course never leave a message. Yesterday I finally received a letter from them for the first time. The account has been charged off and it is still within the sol. I am not sure if I should send a debt validation letter or not because of the way the letter was written. I am attaching a copy of the letter, hopefully I do it right, for your advice and opinion. The back of the letter just states that if they get a judgement against me in the event of legal proceedings then they could include court cost to the amount. It also states that a negative report on my credit record could result. The account may still be reported as unpaid. Thanks
shellieh98
If they are going to sue they will do it. But yes, I would send a debt validation anyway.
