shepdye1
Hello, First, this is my first time posting to this site; but I have visited this site on numerous occasions. With the help of this site, I was able to complete my answer; and had someone to mail and complete the POS-30 form as well. But I forgot to sign the answer before mailing it to the Plaintiff's attorney. I have not file it with the courts yet. What are my options at this point. Should I mail a signed answer to the attorney, or file it with the court. You assistance is greatly appreciated.
Anon Amos
I would sign an original answer and file it with the court with a POS, and also send a copy of that answer with a POS to the lawyer. That way the lawyer will have a copy of the filed answer and POS, they won't be able to use the extra answer against you. It was not filed with the court and Is irrelevant. I would also send them a BOP (if it applies) or discovery (RFP's) to make up for the mistake. Welcome, BTW...
