Do Summons Have To Have Your Full Name?

Recommended Posts

Hello folks, it is me again.  Now I'm still nervous but not much.  Something caught my attention just now as I reread the summons.  My First and Last name is on the summons.  My Middle Name is not on there.  Must summons have Full Name or just First and Last Name?  Just Curious

the summons must have your correct first and last name , no middle required

This is not true.  Peoples name change all the time (marriage, divorce, legal changes, people who use alias or nick names).  So long as the person you are naming in the summons is the true defendant, the name is not terribly important.
