Do default judgments affect my credit?

Recommended Posts

Yes.  The credit bureaus have web crawling software that search court dockets for judgments, tax liens, foreclosure etc. and match it to consumer credit reports.  It is reported in the "public records" section of a credit report and has a HIGH affect on the score.
