AJ Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Please tell me if Midland Funding is MCM, Midland Credit Management. I think they are the same company with several names. Never mind, I decided these different names are all the same company. When Midland buys debts, do they likely have proof, of ownership, of the old debt? Quote
BV80 Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 @AJ Midland Credit Management is the servicer and collection arm for Midland Funding. Quote
Rev_Rock Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 I received something from a collector that stated it was offering me a chance to "save" money by paying a reduced amount on what I 'owe' to Midland. I knew the account was far past the statute of limitations for California, and was going to send them a letter to dispute, but when I kept reading, it actually said that the account was to old to file suit on. I just chuckled to myself and filed it away. Quote
shellieh98 Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 You can send them a letter.Sirs, I refuse to pay. Cease all communications with me. Thanks, me.They are allowed to contact you once more to tell you they won't contact you again, lol 1 Quote
AJ Posted September 21, 2015 Author Report Posted September 21, 2015 Seems like Midland is famous for suing. Thanks for your replies. Quote
