tx2015 0
I've read a few but not sure if I can use those. Can anyone help? It was filed in July but just got served today and have 14 days to respond. I can send what I have received if needed. Basically the account was opened in February 2013, payments stopped in April 2014. Total amount owed is $3,834.95.
qednick 9
If it's JP court check out this recent thread: http://www.creditinfocenter.com/community/topic/326886-midland-funding-lawsuit-texas/ You're essentially in the same boat so it would apply to you. Other option is to elect arb if the original agreement allows. Lots of people here swear by it and have had good results. Personally I would save the arb fees and just file the answer then request permission to conduct discovery but the choice is yours.
