ONESHOT
Just got a letter from an attorney for a hair school that I couldn't finished (extenuating circumstances had me move out of state & to have baby). Only attended 400 hrs. Still paying on time Government loan of up to $5K. Now an attorney is trying to collect for the hair school (who is now out of business) on additional charges up to $4000.00!!! Finished my hours in another state & they wouldn't transfer them anyway. Didn't sign for in-house financing. What do I do?

Send him a letter and demand validation of the debt and specifically that he identify WHO he is collecting for since the school is out of business. Second: file a complaint with the Attorney General in the state where the attorney and/or the school is/was regarding collection based on a business that no longer exists.
