J Lee
Hello, I have received a phone call again today. Same female, she stated that there is nothing action from my sise. She will be at my residence tomorrow at 1:45 pm to be safe since she will have appointment in Sacramento . But she said tomorrow is August 7th instead of September 7th. Again, this is courtesy call. Her sound is very confident and convince that she will definitely come. Is it true? I am scared.
CCRP626
What are you scared of? If someone shows up you don't need to open the door. Let them drop their paperwork at the door. Call 911 if they don't go away. Don't call the number they left to make arrangements because you're scared they'll show at your work or whatever. Block the number. You can easily confirm if there's a court case that will have service by checking your sister's name on the county court site.

It isn't true. SCAM. No one is coming to serve you and even if they were they certainly don't call and warn you. Who would be home? The whole point is to scare you into paying. I guarantee you if you were to speak to them the focus of their script would change to how you can easily avoid this by paying "right now today" the amount is always $400-600 and they want it by prepaid debit/credit card or Western Union because the money is not traceable once they get it that way. Warn friends, family, and your employer you have been targeted by a scammer and not to panic an pay them. If they call back you can hang up, ignore it, tell them you know it is a scam and refuse to pay. OR do what I do: screw with them. I tell them to come on over and bring donuts I will make coffee. I have offered to meet them at the court house. Told them I am in jail and have Deputy Fife bring the papers to me. The last option is to use a portable air horn and blast their ear drums out. No matter what you choose once they figure out you won't pay they will resume searching for another potential victim who scares easily.
