MattA 0
I tried debt consolidation almost a year ago and quit after a few months. I wasn't able to keep up with it. Now, as I'm looking into disputing the letters being sent to me, I wonder if that past debt consolidation is legal proof of my admittance to the debs, thereby making it pointless to challenge the collectors. Thank you for any input.

Thank you for any input. You know...that's a good question. It's very possible that courts would view your willingness to include accounts in a consolidation as a concession that the debt is owed by you. Why else would you include certain accounts in the consolidation? Could you offer some specific details on the consolidation?
