Guest usctrojanalum
what court are you in? no such thing as a circuit court in NYC. The fact that you did not dispute this in 2007 might be difficult to overcome.

You only have 60 days to dispute an inaccurate charge before it becomes accepted as accurate by the credit card company. 10 hours ago, mrgomoshk said: How can i remove this from my report it is said to be in circuit court and i tried to dispute with transunion and its already under investigation from march 14, 2017 and still not completed. Have you been sued or is there a judgment reporting? There is a big difference? 10 hours ago, mrgomoshk said: what is the best course of action to remove this derogatory negative issue off my credit for good? Depends on what is actually reporting. If you were sued and properly served but never defended the suit then the judgment is accurate and you cannot remove it simply because it is a negative and damaging your credit. Unfortunately there is no magic method for removing valid accurate negative trade lines. We need more details to better assist you.

It is SEVEN years too late to do anything about the fraudulent charge. I know you said you had personal issues but that isn't going to sway the courts and doesn't change the law. Were you served with the lawsuit? You need to find out EVERYTHING about who sued you. In NY sewer service is a problem. There is a SLIM chance that you were not properly served and might be able to get this judgment set aside which would stop the garnishment. You need to move quickly. Guest usctrojanalum
go down to court house and get an order to show cause. if you live in one of 5 bouroughs of NYC - check out CLARO. I think every county has one. Just google "Kings CLARO, Bronx CLARO" etc depending on where you live and they can help you fill out paper work and coach. I am a law student volunteer at Westchester CLARO. Volunteer attorneys and law students provide free limited scope advice to people facing consumer debt cases.
