Chase Disputed Charges

I have a VISA that I use from Chase Business Card Services.  Earlier this year I requested a new card and account number.  The card was issued promptly, however, 30 days later a half-dozen vendors that I auto-paid with the previous account number now were transferred to the new card number without my authorization or even being in touch with the auto-paid vendors.   I disputed these charges with Chase and then closed the account because Chase could not explain how the vendors got hold of the new account number.  

The disputed amounts have been credited however Chase will not issue a letter showing that the dispute is closed nor that the credits are permanent.  I am concerned that their refusal to make clear the dispute is closed will lead to problems at a later date.
