Midland Funding LLC , damages of $1,068.93 defendant is Sychrony Bank. My court date is August 8th. I’m sorry I’m complete new to this and don’t have a clue what to do or how to go about it. I’ve been reading a lot on here trying to figure out the best way to proceed. I keep seeing something about filing arbitration? Is that possible for me? Thank you once again and please all advice is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Arbitration is your best option and Synchrony has the best clause for it in their card agreements.  You should research that.

Ok most definitely will, where’s the best place to look up how to make a draft or go about the process. Thank you once again.

Did Midland file in Small Claims against you?  The reason I ask is because the database of cases recently filed by Midland Funding LLC in Palm Beach, FL, all seem to be small claims cases.  Doesn't the Synchrony arbitration provision allow cases to be adjudicated in Small Claims?

If you'd like to see the searchable database, go to https://applications.mypalmbeachclerk.com/eCaseView/landingpage.aspx

Click on "Continue as a Guest" and complete the reCaptcha verification.  Once you're on the search criteria page, type Midland Funding LLC into the second field from the top (Last Name/Company Name).

When you reach a list of the cases, you can click a case number. From there click the "Dockets and Documents" tab to see a progression of a case and any documents that are available for viewing.   After a little research, you may be able to get a good understanding of what you're up against, especially if a case if represented by the same attorney.

There are 10 pages from Midland here in Palm Beach county, different attorneys.
