Guest King of the North
We each have some cards that we may end up getting sued for. Only her name is on two cards and only my name on two cards. We reside in WA State which is a community property state. Can I represent her if sued on her cards or would that be UPL? Harry Seaward
If you are named in the lawsuit, you can likely appear for both of you. (Depends on your local rules.) If only she is named, you definitely can't appear for her.
