Harry Seaward Posted December 24, 2018 Report Share Posted December 24, 2018 If you are a victim of ID theft, you need to add a fraud alert and freeze your credit files. All three CRAs have this function available online and via telephone. They don't give addresses, I'm guessing because ID Theft/fraud is something you would want to report immediately - not however long it takes for a certified letter to get delivered, opened, routed and processed.
