Scott & Associates PC lawsuit/Pennsylvania

Recommended Posts

Hello, today i recieved a letter from the above firm. I defaulted on a loan from Dell after a computer i purchased from them turned out to be junk. The letter claims they are reviewing my account for legal action and may include the filing of a lawsuit. They provided 3 options

1. Pay $945.78 to settle

2. $185.45/monthly

3. Call

I know id have to have a gun to my temple to call them. Just looking for some advice. Thank you very much.

Send a DV letter to buy yourself 30 days.  Bottom line is they will sue you.

I am sure you know this but for anyone else who might read this and doesn't buyer's remorse or being dissatisfied with the purchase is not LEGAL grounds for default on a contract.  You cannot use that as a defense if they do sue you.

I am filling out a DV letter as we speak and send it certified mail on monday. As for the arbitration clause. Honestly im not very sure what that is. I know that defaulting on it was not the correct route to solve the problem. Thank you everyone for the input.
