Being sued by Portfolio Recovery services

Recommended Posts

I just received a letter in the mail haven’t opened it yet. I’m sure that it’s for being sued since I looked up the address. This is the first letter I’ve received. I haven’t received any other letters. Should I open this letter? If so what are the next steps I should do in regards to this matter.

Step 1. Open the letter.

Step 2. Read the letter.

Step 3. Get back to us on what the letter says.

Step 4.   Figure out a strategy.

The earlier you start dealing with a problem the better.

Do you have reason to think the contents may be dangerous?

I heard if you don't open it, the lawsuit doesn't count.
