Yes, they initiated after MTC was granted. I requested JAMS in the motion though.

Which is why they picked AAA.  Did they include the granted MTC?  My guess is they rejected it because AAA does not accept companies initiating against a consumer without a court order.

Who is the JDB?  And I'm curious how it came about that they filed the AAA case instead of you?

Yeah, I would like to see how it came about that the Plaintiff was initiating the arbitration first.  Also, if you start JAMS and the Plaintiff then sends the granted MTC to AAA and they re-open the case, you will have done the work (and potentially paid the $250) for nothing.

I did not see their (attorneys for Velocity Investments) request to know if they included the MTC. I think they just filed before I did.
