$1,050 plus costs and disbursements

5. How do you know you are being sued? (You were served, right?)

 

Nope - Found it on the NYS electronic filing portal. I assume I’ll be served soon.

I was not served yet.

None that I know of.

Approximately 18 months ago.

Maybe do some research.

Since you are very far away from me (Monroe County) I can't really help you that much. But if you want to check out a case where a judge ruled issued an order compelling the parties to arbitrate check out 601500/2019 in NYSCEF.

Thank you for the case number above. I tried searching for it in NYSCEF but it shows “Closed to EF”

I have now been served.

Are you able to tell me what my next order of action should be?
