Recommended Posts

My court date is 10/23/19! I am being sued by midland funding for a old one main financial loan. What can I do to defend myself and can a judgment freeze my bank account?

Get a copy of the One Main loan contract and Motion to Compel Arbitration using the arbitration clause in that contract.  That is how you win.

@snowmandi19

Here's an attorney's article on arbitration in Texas:

Here's an example of an attorney-prepared Texas motion to compel arbitration and memorandum of law. This is much more than what is usually submitted by pro se defendants on this forum to be successful. Check the Texas threads here for modified for Texas versions Fisthardcheeses's basic template.
