Nicole123
Hi, I just got a letter from collections stating they want to collect a debt that is over 15 years old, and I am not sure it even belongs to me. This debt is not on my credit report and the letter states its too old to sue me for the debt. What should I do? Should I just ignore it, since they clearly states they cannot sue for the debt? Also, though it's too old to sue me, can they report it to my credit though its past SOL? Any information about this would be great. Thanks

Thanks You can either ignore it or send a letter demanding the collector “cease and desist all communications.”
