I have been involved in an ongoing arbitration since last year.  The JDB paid the filing fee and the arbitrator was appointed in May.  They are now complaining about the amount of the deposit and have written jams asking for a “more affordable” option?  Is this even allowed?  They have already received two extensions to pay and the final deadline is (as of now) next week.  

Is what allowed?  The question posed to JAMS?  They can ask anything they want.  IF there is a more affordable option, it still must comply with the consumer rules.  Wait to see how JAMS responds.
