Texas Rocker suggested the use of a simple format for a "General Denial" in response to a posters questions regarding summons/complaint in Texas. The question would be; would this type of response work in other Courts in various states where used as an Answer to Complaint and was accompanied with a MTC Arbitration. It would save a lot of paperwork for the Court and additionally a lot of work answering a lot of difficult and tedious responses to a lengthy and detailed complaint.

P. 12(a)(1), (4). An appropriate response usually takes one of two forms: (1) an answer, or (2) a pre-answer motion (often a motion to dismiss the complaint). Defendants often file both a pre-answer motion and an answer.
