  1. NASCAR_Devil.. Thats the problem.(50/50 chance was paid) it was suppose to be electronically debited from my acct. ..The bank that it was from is not even open anymore, so I have to find a way to get records from that bank. I would even pay the $250 if it was not, only if it can be proved. I found an address for cashadvance, and thinking about dv them for the info. and asking why they did not notify me that the acct was unpaid and why i was not notified about the transferred acct.
  2. I would not bother with it, just let it go gracefully. You have a new beginning.
  3. ...I got a 29 point increase with myfico when a new tradeline and a car payment posted updated at the same time. this was in march 2008. equifax 560-589 and gained 18 more points since then. finally above 600, barely
  4. Its never to late, at least you are on the right track now
  5. I have used them in the past, and they do help, but it is a long tedious process.. you can do it faster.
  6. I pulled my credit report today and a collection was added: MARAUDER CORPORATION Account No.: 5214*** Original Creditor: CASH ADVANCE USA Responsibility: Individual Condition: Derogatory Original Balance: $650 Balance: $650 Date Opened: 03/2008 Date Reported: 05/07/2008 I did take a cash advance for $250 with cash advance, I actually have ALL the signed papers that i faxed them on 7/1/2003. Now they want to collect $650. I have never received a letter to debt validate. I checked budd hibbs, but need to see if anyone here can help or offer suggestions.
  7. Just be careful and proceed with caution...... I would just fax them back and ask for the address, a much quicker process to get it off your credit.
  8. This could be a problem, ... can we spell ID THEFT. Northland Collections pulled my credit.
  9. I applied for target online yesterday, and it is RNB-WEB
  10. I agree, interest will just keep adding up.
  11. Welcome, effingnewguy..You may want to consider disputing older items first, the newer they are, you could possibly end up with a lawsuit or judgement. The newer items i would try and contact the original creditor or try a pay for delete/pfd. This is just my opinion
  12. I would not send them anything, I would wait til they send me something in writing about the post dated check. and then send it to the attorney general and see if its legal.
  13. it could be due to your current balances on your current accts/debt
  14. also. when you spend more than %50 of your available balance, you have went over your limits. Example $500 cl.. spend $250. you have maxed out your available credit, if a lender looks at your credit report. 10 cards!!!!!
  15. I would take only the cards really neccessary, You may be over doing it, It will also hurt you in the long run. Yes it will drop your score. Maybe try looking for one card that will give you the $2400 limit.
  16. Have they even asked you for proof?. If thats all it is, then i would send info for legal name change.
  17. I had the same problem, as far as i can tell, anything that was over 3 yrs old, does not seem to impact your score much.
  18. Mines was not removed when i disputed with credit bureaus, came back verified in 12/07.. I sent the email and was removed.
  19. You may want to send them a letter and adv them that you do not wish to be contacted at work and only at a certain time of day. Good Luck!!
  20. I would call them when, you get the card and ask for a increase.
  21. I emailed Mr. Barrist back in january 2008 from my outlook email acct. and it was deleted within a week.
  22. Its probably not the end of it. I bet the bank will find another loophole and still get the house.
  23. If its not legal fees, its just the interest due to the balance.. My was originally $400 and ballooned to $1115 in a 2 year period due to interest every month. thats why i decided it was best for me to take the settlement offer from northland $642, to get them off my backs.
  24. The only problem with sending checks, they will deposit it electronially ach transaction, i believe its called.. I would suggest a money order.
  25. how old is the debt?
