  1. I got Chase Platinum $2500 [Already have Chase Freedom with $3000 limit.] I got Citi Diamond $1600 [Already have Citi Select with $5600 limit.]
  2. I have had one Discover card for about a year. They gave me 17.99% interest rate when the 12 months of 0% ran out. So I applied for another one thinking they would give me a better rate, since my balance was zero. They DENIED me. I called them and they said right now they are not approving anyone for a second Discover card. PS: They did NOT do an inquiry thankfully.
  3. I used to go to that form and respond to posts with google : Credit Info Center
  4. You know I hate that web site. lol
  5. Congrats! I dont even have that much credit limit with Chase and I have no negative information on my credit report! lol
  6. Call them up, demand the highest level supervisor on duty. Tell them you want to close the account and want your deposit refunded today. You will hold on the line until they confirm this has been done and ask for the check number they are sending you for your deposit refund. Do not accept any other answer. Keep re-affirming they are to refund your deposit today. I kinda miss having to deal with bad credit card companies.
  7. I'm not a fan of HSBC. I only have the one card from them...Best Buy Reward MC.
  8. I check all my credit card account online daily. Sometimes several times a day.
  9. I applied they called me back to verify information and asked a few questions ... which county did i live in ... pick a b c or d. blah blah. Approved. BTW according to their web site they have a card you can use anywhere...but you have to apply for that one.
  10. I could not resist it any longer. I just applied for Home Depot and got $4k. No baddies what so ever probably averaging 720 Ficos.
  11. Seeing your scores from July makes me what to apply for credit just to boost my scores!!!
  12. I used my CIti card for a balance transfer and has 12 months no interest. Paid it off ... then last month they offered me another 6 months no interest so I jumped on it again. 18 months no interest. I did have to pay balance transfer feees of 3% of the transfer amount.
  13. Congrats! I might try to apply for it once April comes around if I didn't pay off my Citi Card.
  14. Peeling wallpaper sucks! On another note I just wanted to share a bit of information. The day the bank [that i didnt use] ran my credit, I also pulled all three. A few days later the bank had an application for me to sign and it had all three FICO scores on it...it was the exact same thing i purchased from myfico ... same scores...same description has to why or why not it was a high or low score. So apparently either the FICO scores are Mortgage scores...or this bank didn't run a Mortgage FICO score on me.
  15. Congrats on the card. You can buy your FICO scores from www.myfico.com and try the discount code of SCORES4LESS for 20% I think.
  16. I bank with them and havent heard anything yet. But I think there rewards checking account [if that is what you are talking about] had a time limit only from now until after Christmas.
  17. Try it during check out, if not try SCORES4LESS for 20% off.
  18. Actually I closed yesterday. I ended up going with a broker. He said that it did not matter that it the condo was non warrantable because my FICO scores made up the difference.
  19. Read the TFC in my link if you haven't already.
  20. I had an old Providian acount that charged off in 2001. It was extremely easy to remove from my credit report around 2006 or 2007.
  21. If I remember I'll pull mine on 1/1/09 if I get a myfico discount code. lol
  22. If I am understanding you correctly, this tradeline hasnow been deleted? If so I wouldn't worry about anything. Keep all your documentation should it arise again in the future.
